Mobile Phone and Book Attack!!

Post by notyniki »

Hi, has anyone had this experience.
If I leave my books or mobile phone around, my 10 month old attacks them - he plays, bites and chews them.

Well, not mobile phones, but when they were kittens, badger and Tilly used to make assaults on my calculator. It still has a deep dent from Badgers teeth!

Calculator?? hilarious x I'd say jealousy but I hardly use my phone other than as an alarm. Books - many a fine have I had to pay to the library. He absolutely desecrates them!

I have a photo somewhere of one of my cats helping my then husband with his maths for his OU degree. You can see her paw on the keyboard as she sits in his lap :D

I've never had a cat who attacked a phone (yet!) but oh yes, books. I must have about a thousand books (will have to buy a kindle or a bigger house) and hundreds must bear the scars. A lot of the damage comes from a cat just 'dropping in' as I turn a page, or charging up to headbutt and going wham like a lion through a paper hoop. Or kitten teething - nothing like a nice tasty paperback :D

A few titles occurred to me:-

Tails of the Unexpected Cat
Reading Without Tears (much sellotaped, this.)
50 Sheds of Grey (Hairy!)
Fur Whom the Bell Tolls
7 Pillars of Whiskas
...and of course Wuthering Bites ...

I'm sure other people will be able to add to the list
