Hi, I'm after your expertise again friends.

I'm posting on behalf of my brother and sister-in-law who have a 19 year old male cat, Milly, who is dearly loved and very much part of their family.

Milly is frail and a bit confused, but hey, at the ripe old age of 19 he's allowed to be a bit doddery. But he's still enjoying his life and loves his trips around the garden. It doesn't feel like it's his time to go just yet.

But he has become incontinent at night, and is wetting his bed. The cleaning up isn't a problem, but Milly is starting to smell bad ... pet wipes aren't helping, and they don't want to upset him by keep bathing him.

So question is, does anyone have any experience of cats becoming incontinent at night? Any ideas to help keep him clean and comfortable?

I wonder whether he would sleep on a puppy pad?

That's a good idea, thank you, and definitely worth a try.
