I was ironing in the laundry room where Izzy's litter box is located---been here before doing ironing and she has used the box...today right at my feet she is dumping feces! I totally don't understand what has happened to her but WHY would she do this when the litter box is not more than 2 feet away?

If this happens again you should definitely take her to the vet because it can be a sign of trouble.

Did the ironing of the clothes make some odd smells? Even the slightest weird smells can be 10x stronger for her.. It could be that she was agitated by the smell perhaps?
