Retained deciduous teeth

Has anyone had a cat with retained deciduous teeth. I've noticed my 6mth old kitten still has his baby canines. He has lost all his other baby teeth. The bottom canines are okay. Will they evenutally drop out? How long does it take? He's eating okay and doesn't seem to be in any discomfort.

How much does it cost to remove these? :?

Update:

Finally they popped out! He's obviously a late bloomer. Worries over *phew*

Good to hear. I had a cat with the opposite problem - her adult teeth started falling out when she was 5, and were all gone by the time she was 10. I had her vet checked, there were no apparent problems, and she could still gum-eat both wet and dry food, so on the whole it was a benefit; no dental problems!
