pee dribbles

Hi. My latest addition was an entire stray who turned up in my garden a few months ago. I had him neutered and he's now moved in. He is happy to use a litter tray but I've noticed when he pees he often leaves a drip trail from the tray. Can you tell me if this is normal? I've had male cats before but they would pee and poo outside. And my other, female cat doesn't do does this.

I've never known this - I would be concerned in case his neutering had left some damage to his uretha - unless it was done within the past few days, I'd have him seen by a vet again
