Wound glue issue?

Post by Fifer »

Hey all,

My cat Bella got neutered the other week. We had an issue with the wound so the vet then glued it. Since the glue was removed a few days later, we have started to see an increasing blackening of where the glue went. Is this normal? There is no redness, smell or discomfort, and it doesn't bother her or licks it?

Can anyone advise me?

My vet uses glue, but I've never had to take one back to have it removed, so I'd give the vet a bell.

Well we found out what it was. The steroid cream we were given causes skin pigmentation. So it's all good

I've never heard of a steroid cream being given after neutering
