Thermometer for cats?
Anyone have one? and if so, what one do you have?

Hi,
I don't have any advice to offer you - having never attempted to take a cat's temperature, but I've sometimes wondered why vets take it in the way they do. Nowadays doctors/nurses use ear thermometers which only need a touch to take our temperature - is this not possible with cats?
It would be so much easier for both cat and vet, but there may be some reason why it's not done - in which case it would be interesting to hear the explanation. Anyone know???
