Hey guys,
I have a nearly 5 month old Russian blue male.
I may just be worrying too much as it could be normal, but just past the shoulder blades, slightly off to the right of the top of his spine (if he was looking at me and not away) he has a raised bump.
It feels like maybe his ribs and is definitely hard like bone. It's large enough for me to think it's just part of his bone structure, but I'm still worried as the other side feels like what I think a feline rib cage would do. It even makes his fur slight stick up. It doesn't seem to bother him in the slightest though. I'm wondering if it's like a deformity.
He's been checked out by my vet and they didn't mention anything and the breeder never said out about it.
Sorry for the long post, appreciate any advice. I know it's not easy without seeing what I mean.
