recently my cat, echo, has been wheezing through her nose and swallowing a lot. it comes in episodes, often when she is laying on my lap. she'll look up and around for a moment before making almost a sneezing motion, but it sounds strangled and repressed like no air is coming out. after maybe 5-10 of these "sneezes" she's fine again.
i personally think she might be having allergies, as it's shedding season and she is shedding profusely. we recently moved, as well, and there's one specific tree that's been giving my entire family allergies so it might be effecting her as well.
any speculations, anyone?
nasal wheezing and hard swallowing?
