My cat is required to eat prescription cat food to prevent urinary blockage. Both Hills C/D and Royal Canin SO dry foods cause him to throw up after he eats it. Should i keep feeding it to him? He'd rather not eat, than to eat wet food, especially if it's prescription wet food. What should i do?

Is it just the diet or have you been given any other advice on struvite stone prevention?

There are other brands available on Zooplus, might be worth trying

Is it the food, or the amount he eats at once? Feeding just a little at a time may help - otherwise I would talk to your vet about alternatives.

I've just been reading this, several small meals are also supposed to help stabilise urine pH through the day as well apparently.

I will try controlling the amount he eats and see if that helps.
