Hi. My heart is breaking. We adopted the sweetest little girl three months ago. She was three months old and hadn't been spayed because she had a murmur that would hopefully be resolved. I took her in to be spayed yesterday and the vet said no way. The murmur is so bad a can hear it without a stethoscope. She is fine. Happy, active, crazy, eating well... And the sweetest little soul who has bonded with my 11 year old son like they're soul mates... We are hoping the cardiilogist can see her soon, but my vet has cautioned me to prepare for a short life...

I'm devastated. She was the only good thing to happen this dreadful year.
