Protective mum.

Post by Natcats »

Hello everyone

My donskoy sphynx is 2yrs old and has had her first litter. This is also my first time having a litter.
She had a single kitten.
He is now 3wks old and seems to be developing fine.
The kitten is fine with me and my family holding him and playing with him but mum hates it.
She will try everything to get him back into their nesting box.... Is this normal? Is she too protective? Will she stop him from acting the way he should for his age and further weeks?

Do I wait and see what happens or...?
I don't want him to become people shy but I do not want mum to be too stressed out..... Any advice please
