Three legged cat and using a cat flap

Post by Ginjaicemaiden »

Hi, my cat had his back leg amputated a few years ago and has been doing fine especially with using the cat flap. You wouldn't know he didn't have all four most of the time, unless he's looking for sympathy! We have recently moved to a house that doesn't have an existing catflap and think we will have to put a cat flap in through a thick wall as the other option is a patio door. We're concerned he will struggle with the tunnel aspect so I'm hoping someone can give some advise or share their experience. Thanks in advance :)
