cat food

hello,
i currently give my two cats raw food diet purrform- this was what they were feed when we adopted them, so we continued with it. our vet was against a raw diet but didnt offer any alternatives. we also are not keen on handling raw food, but not sure what alternatives there are. the everyday supermarket cat foods are clearly a downgrade and full of sugar etc, so wondered what other options there would be?
we have slowly introduced our cats to freshly cooked chicken, but that is fairly arduous and i imagine doesn't contain all the broad nutrients that would come with the raw food that includes ground bones and other organs (?).
any info/advice much appreciated.
