FIV vet in London UK

Post by J Zad »

Can anyone please recommend a vet in London that is competent with dealing with FIV issues in cats?

I have brought a FIV+ cat with me from Hong Kong. The vets in Hong Kong were very good with FIV cats as it was common. However, my experience with vets in London is not as positive.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as my kitty has recently been diagnosed with anaemia, is developing lumps, etc. and despite the vet's efforts, he is not improving.

Thank you.

Hello,

One that I know of is Kitten to Cat in Richmond, ( http://www.kittentocat.com/ ) which is a cat-only vets. That might be a bit far out though?

Or - what you could do is contact one of the FIV Friendly rehoming organisations in London, and either see if you can go to their own vets, or if they can recommend one near you - I would ask either Celia Hammond Animal Trust or the Mayhew Animal Home - details on the Cat Chat shelter listings page here: https://www.catchat.org/index.php/cat-r ... est-london

I hope that helps, and good luck with your cat!
