Hi all,

As the title suggests I am looking to give a loving home to a FIV+ kitty. I'm not sure if I am posting in the right section here but I am a bit confused about the best way to go about this to ensure we are doing the thing that will benefit a cat the most i.e. potentially save a life - so any advice and a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated :D

Just quickly a bit about my situation, I live in Romford, which is the border of East London and Essex with my partner and our little Princess who has been diagnosed with FIV, which has really bought this illness to my attention.

Thanks in advance all for taking the time to read.

Jenni

Hi Jenni

First of all, I am delighted that you are not only keeping your little girl but are looking for a FIV companion for her :)

Honey Cat Rescue in Eastbourne generally have FIV cats available for adoption.

If it's too far away, transport can usually be arranged :)

Here is their facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/honeycatrescue" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Lucy is a lovely lady :)

Please let us know how you get on.

Hi Jenni,

Are you still looking for an FIV boy? There's lovely friendly FIV chap called Boris (see photo) at Bromley & District Cat Rescue - they can rehome to Essex, details on their Cat Chat page: http://www.catchat.org/bromley

Good luck!
