Apparently I've got to keep this short, as I'm on the office chair and 'she' can't sit down. Not my fault!
I only want to see if my photo works.... hooray!
Night night,
Dave

Dave got in first, that's not fair! Yeah, of course we're behaving... badly
This new forum, it's a bit, um... purple. Never mind. Welcome to the new very-purple-indeed-forum.
Gotta go, Dave's nicking my food (again)...

It was kind of you to let new boy Dave have a go first with testing out his photo. He's a newcomer to this kind of thing. I hope you're showing him how to catch frogs. Or maybe that's pushing it a bit too far.
My new laptop is brilliant, only problem is, I can't scroll quickly on the touchpad anymore, so I'm back to using a mouse! Apart from that, its great to be able to browse properly again, especially as I'm going to the Totnes Cat Cafe tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to letting all you know how I get on!
And hi to Moogle too, it is a good new forum, isn't it?
I just realised that this forum is back to front, or maybe the old forum was back to front - I went to the top to look for the latest post, but the latest post is at the bottom - which actually makes more sense but it's amazing what you get used to.
We don't get "credit" for our previous posts, and I think we are all new cat chatters again? I'd like to be a super-dooper-pooper cat chatter, but I think that will take centuries now.
I like mucking about with coloured posts - but how about some new fonts to play with?

Just found this out... you can set your preference for displaying the order of posts newest-first or oldest-first in your User Control Panel, so that threads will always appear the way you want them. So if you want to change it, click into your UCP (link top right), go to Board Preferences > Edit Display Options > Display post order direction. "Descending" will place newest posts at the top, "Ascending" will place newest posts at the bottom.
Thanks Yogiboy, just done that! Makes it much quicker to see new posts when I'm rushing in the morning before work! Its also the order from the old forum that I think most of us are more used to!
