Hi, I'm not sure how this is going to sound and I don't want to go into complete detail but a few years ago we were forced to rehoming our kittens am and their mother. We instantly regretted this decision and through contacting the owner we found out she was a hoarder, we have been battling for years trying to rescue them as only the dog wardsen was willing to do anything but couldn't due to them been cats.
Anyway, a few days ago the person passed away and we are once again worried where our babies will end up. If anyone can inform me the best way of finding them please let me know I really desperate. I'm just not sure what action I need to take now. Thank you

How about putting a letter through the door describing the situation, and the cats, with a phone number
if there are a lot of cats needing new homes whoever is now responsible might well be glad to hear from you

That's definitely something that could work, maybe contacting them via social media too. Thanks for the reply

You could ask neighbours, if you’ve not already done that. Also local rescues may have been contacted. Best of luck.
