My 6mth old cat chases and dribbles his ball toys and rummages through bins and takes out tissues to play with. So to me his past life as a human would have been a professional footballer, who lost all his money and then became homeless!
I love this thread
Poppy would be a princess, she is very regal and wants things now, very much her slave
Queenie would be as her name suggests the Queen of all she surveys she likes to get on high things.
Dingo, oh Dingo he would be the naughty teenager who causes trouble wherever he goes and then comes for a cuddle. He certainly keeps me on my toes, I found him crawling behind the bookcase the other day,he jumped out at me!
Gotta love them all.
Tiffany would make an excellent sergeant-major, as she enjoys keeping the underlings in order
Tosker I regret to say would make a perfect puppy, following me around all the time and rolling on his back for tummy tickles, when not just sitting at my feet gazing at me adoringly
Good idea for a thread! A bit of fun to take our minds off ... Well everything right now.
Willow also goes by the names ' Princess' (speaks for itself) and 'The witch ON the wardrobe' depending on her mood. Gracie would be 'The very hungry caterpillar'. Bob would definitely be Dennis the menace or possibly Just William. He's a little boy with a dirty face, socks around his ankles and a catapult in his back pocket. Purdy is a little more difficult. She is a bossy boots who is very quick to tell you when you have not met her expectations. She mutters to herself and I think she is saying 'you just can't get the staff' - Alan Sugar springs to mind. Don't know if anyone has any other suggestions for Purdy?
As I have frequently said my Saturn is a typical 'lad'. If he was human he would have a dozen ASBOs and see them as a status symbol. He isn't vicious, but does like to tease just to get a reaction it seems. He'd be yelling at little old ladies, haring up and down the street on one of those mini motorbikes, kicking his football at people's houses, and generally making a nuisance of himself to everyone else who lived on the estate, but never causing actual harm to anyone as he is a complete coward if challenged.
Tiggy is his adversary, the little old lady waving her walking stick at him, going on about the youth of today. Refusing to be cowed, but still feeling a bit intimidated and going on about him to anyone who will listen.
I'm thinking Tilly would have been Queen Elizabeth the 1st - regal and and a passionate hunter! Next doors Tay would be Billy Bunter, scoffing everything within reach, whether it was his or not.
Rufus would be a long-limbed, long-haired bearded bloke, getting on a bit now (late thirties), very laid-back but still not knowing how to behave round females. You know, just sitting and staring at them, and beating a retreat if the girl seems at all assertive/disdainful...
Point taken! I have just let Purdy in and got told off for not being quick enough opening the door. She always gives me a filthy look and toddles off down the hall muttering to herself.
