rescuing a pregnant stray cat ADVICE PLEASE!!
we are rescuing a stray cat which is heavily pregnant she has no microchip and looks very young do you have any advice on helping her we have 3 cats and 2 dogs and after phoning many charities, the best solution for us is to rescue it as she would be safest in our own hands as where she currently subsides is inside a small plastic greenhouse in a garden which has the danger of foxes attacking the kittens when they are born she seems happy there however the people who let her stay in the greenhouse do not want the cat and work full time with a baby so they can not look after the cat and so it stays locked outside they are feeding her. We have never had a pregnant cat before! is there anyone that would be able advise that has been through a similar situation.? would appreciate input! thank you

Hi and welcome and good on you for rescuing this girl.
Cats Protection do a very good leaflet - https://www.cats.org.uk/uploads/documen ... ittens.pdf
It all feels very daunting at first but cats are very good mothers on the whole and know what they want.
Please keep in touch and ask any questions you need - we will all support you and try to help guide you through - good luck
