Fuzzy
He had a great innings and outlasted all the other rescues (3 others in the same period)
Now sleeping down the garden....we will miss not having a lion headed lopp in our lives

Oh well more love from our 2 rescue sibling cats and the recent doggy all round needed for us !!

You always feel you could have done better for them somehow, I take some satisfaction it was only until very recently he turned drastically for the worse so not suffering too badly for long ... even though he had clearly got some severe neurological issue suddenly in the last few days, he still had the presence to finally enjoy some herbs and dandelions before we eventually took him on the car trip, reluctant and downhearted

He had really bad cataracts and a detached retina in one eye, down to just old age
(was mucking up fur around his eyes all the time so needed lots of care) and generally starting to struggle with daily things so in a way its a relief to know he hasn't got to struggle anymore.

Thanks all.....he's at peace now and didn't suffer really, for long so thats some conciliation.

Also even though he seemed unwell and distressed when first noticed his sudden change, he was able to calm down enough be fed a few nice things, which was nice.

He was just so patient and trusting.

Its funny he didn't do an awful lot due to his age but was always there, kind of a reassurance in itself so he is going to be greatly missed not being around and just reminds me how much loss can affect (we only lost our 18yr old puss 2 yrs ago so thats still a bit raw at times)
