Vets - leave for a new vet.

Afternoon everyone, I want to go to a new vet. Do I need to inform my current one or i don’t have to tell them?

Has anybody changed without informing your current one?

Hi - I've only properly changed vets once (I did do a trial run once too!), I'm fairly sure they contacted my old ones for my records, as they are all electronic, but i did have my old vet ring and ask why (but at the time, I did a lot of voluntary work, so they lost my account as well as the charity one).

I've left one vet about 6 or 7 years ago after making a complaint and being ever more unhappy after discussing the issue with them. My new vets asked for my old vets' details and I believe contacted them direct. My old vets didn't contact me again, I think they knew why!
