I couldn't figure out how to add a further picture to my last thread to here is Sky .... now erm 13 weeks old. Fabulous mix of character - she does the floppy rag doll thing so well but is also a real little madam with a personality way too big for her size and age at the moment :)

Hello Helen and welcome to CC.

You have three lovely kitties there. As I write this I notice Bob is lying on the back of our sofa in the same position as Sky. He has the same big ears and long tail (for his size). I wonder if that means they are going to be BIG cats?

Ragdoll and Russian Blue - what a stunning combination! :D

Yes I am interested to see what size she makes - I know rags can be quite big but I'm not sure on the Russian blue?

Her mum was the rag doll and apparently just a regular size. I do love her colour and she has the lovely blue nose and paws. She seems very bright and is learning so quickly that after just one week I can't remember being without her!

Russians are tall cats, with long legs and slim long bodies - mine is a bag of bones but still weighs 4.7k

so add in the fur and solidity of a Ragdoll and I reckon you are going to need a heck of a strong carrier quite soon

LOL - she could be a real crumper then ... that's ok I like a big cat ! When you look at her now proportionally she seems to have a really long body compared to my other 2 - and those ears she really needs to grow into !

I saw the collapsing carrier thread so will keep an eye out - maybe something on wheels would be appropriate ....

Hmmmmm..... more experimental back street breeding I assume!!!

Cross two apparent pedigrees and you get a mog just like any other mob!!!!!!!

Absolutely sick of people crossing breeding to sell with no regard for the consequences.

I guess she is a mog - mine are all mogs and I love them.

Hopefully you read my other thread and understand its not my breeding or my purchase but an unwanted kitten who needed a home....

she certainly looks like a long-haired Russian in that photo

I hope for your sake she has the laid-back attitude of one too - I have had my Trigger 13 years and he has never bitten or scratched me, even when a kitten, and is a total - well, pussycat! - at the vets

Its strange Kay somehow in photos she looks more 'pointy' than in real life - particularly her face and ears ...... she's the only one of my 3 who rolls over for a tummy tickle and it isn't a trap !!!

I'll be interested to see how long haired she gets - I think she'll be fluffy/semi long haired but time will tell !

Just catching up with this enjoyable thread which has been spoiled by sour Hunnybunny which is a shame. One of my cats is a Ragdoll x Norwegian forest cat and a gorgeous big healthy cat. On the insurance application form it asks if the cat is a pedigree, cross breed or moggie so for petplan there is a difference..I ticked moggie though.

Indie, pure mog, no Ragdoll or Norwegian Forest cat, found in a bin with mum and sibs.

About as beautiful a mog as you can get I'd say......

hunnybunny I just have to say this is not a competition about what is cutest - pedigrees or mogs whether bought or rescued - they are ALL beautiful. Absolutely no need to behave in such a way on someone elses thread.

Sorry to OP.

I am not sure that I have read anywhere in this thread that anyone has paid money for their cross breads so I am not sure why some posters have taken offence at it?

As Kittywitty has said, all if the cats are beautiful

Hi Helen,

What colour are your cats eyes? I have a rag doll cross and I suspect it may be with a Russian Blue. He looks identical
to yours.

Thanks!

Elle this is a really old thread and the original poster doesn't seem to be here any more, it might be better to start a separate topic rather than resurrect this one
