Meet My Cats (I Have 14!) Pudding

Post by liserini »

Pudding has led a life of loss. Born in 1998 he led a happy life with his sister Blossom until their owner became terminally ill in 2003.

Pudding and Blossom were at the Cats Protection for over 6 months. In that time people came by and wanted to rehome either one or the other but not together! The rescue said no, they had to go together. I adopted them both in November 2003.

In 2005, Blossom went missing. Pudding was very sad in that time. Blossom came home, 2 days before I was due to move house, and after 2 weeks being missing.

In 2008, Blossom was poisoned with antifreeze and had to be put to sleep :(

Earlier this year (2014) Pudding suffered an ear infection which resulted in him losing an ear.

Pudding started out as a very independent cat, after 6 months in a small enclosure it's not surprising he wasn't too interested in human contact. But as years went by he has become the sort of cat who loves to be by my side. He sleeps on my head pretty much and loves to be by my side when I'm on the sofa watching TV.

He is the ruler of the cats in my house :)

Pudding looks beautiful. I grew up with black and white DLH's. My husband and I have just adopted a black BSH called Molly, she's a small 1 year old and still shy so far, we're only 2 weeks in though. Hoping she'll become a cuddle lover!
