Hi, just joined this forum looking for any advice! I'm going to meet a cat tomorrow, her owner is looking to rehome her. I'm not sure how I go about making sure she does get lost / run away when I bring her to my house? She's an outdoor cat but should I keep her in for a bit??
Appreciate any advice, lorraine

Yes you definitely need to be prepared to keep her in for at least 3 weeks. I'd suggest 5/6 weeks so that she can bond with you and your home. Good luck x

Hi Lorraine
There's some good advice on here about how to introduce a new cat to your home:

Good luck!

Hi Loraine.
How did it go today? Have you bought kitty home?

Thanks for all your replies, she was a bit shy but lovely! Her owner is bringing her to me tomorrow, fingers crossed she isn't too stressed with it all! I'm sure I'll be back for more advice along the way lol
