Dave Update.

Hello everyone. Just thought I would let you all know how Dave, my adopted stray is doing.
He is coming on marvellously and is so affectionate and loving. My chest is covered in scratches where he has cuddled up and started 'treading'.
He is eating well and he has a weekly treat of some cooked chicken breast which he loves. But.....I don't think he will ever venture outside. I have carried him to the back door a few times to show him his domain, but he will look around, then struggle to get down and shoot back into the house.
Especially if he hears a strange noise, other people talking or workmen. He hates that. He also hides if my friend and her 2yo come to visit. I don't think he likes to many people around especially children. (I know how he feels...lol )
But he has filled a huge gap in my life and it's lovely to have him run to greet me when I get home.
