Georgia is due to be spayed at the beginning of next month, my sister has never had to have 'collars of shame' put on her cats after surgery but I'm worried she may pick at her stitches. I'm sure the vet will advise me but is there anyone with any experience of this out there :|

Ava didn't have a cone and neither did Henry when they were done.

I think a lot depends on how your vet does the spay - mostly with girls it's now a sideline spay with internal stitches and glue. I'd check with your vet to see what they do
