Introducing a new cat! - any tips for rescuing the situation

Hi all! Well I have a new cat for the interim - still not found the owner of the little ginger and white tom! So as he was a unplanned arrival I was not able to follow the 'ideal' introduction to my own cats!
They have sort of all been thrown in together - with my cats having the sole run of upstairs as necessary and they have had their food on the work top for now.
Basically new cat keeps chasing the other 2 when they have their backs to him - at first I thought it was playful but now I'm not so sure. The others are both neutered, 18months old, brother and sister. They both his and growl at him but they don't try and swipe him or anything.
I have booked for his man bits to be removed next week and I have ordered a couple of feliway plug ins too.
Just wondering if there is anything else anyone could suggest.
I love my cats very much and the brother and sister are quite stressed with this new arrival - something I want to ease ... But also I have a lot of other things in my life and I realy can't keep everyone separate with separate rooms and food and litter trays etc!
Thank you!
