I spotted this on a rescue's Facebook page. Nice video, good message. :)

Thanks, we've posted on our Facebook page. Just a shame the cats they have used obviously haven't had numerous litters, wish they'd used 'scrawnier' looking ones.

YouTube isn't working for me grrrr! I have seen plenty of cat spays and castrations though. Wondering what you mean by wishing they had used "scrawnier" ones? I had 2 of my own females spayed recently, and one had never given birth, but the other was a recently rescued feral. There was a HUGE difference in the size of the uterus. Not sure how that would be evident on a video unless the two were shown side by side?

Ah crewella, I love that video! I think I see what was meant by the "scrawnier" comment now too. Like they should have used skinny ferals and shown the difference after neutering. A good point. I think to get the message out though, we need a variety of approaches. Some will work on certain people, and other approaches on others. Cover all angles eh? I love this video and am doing a presentation on cats at college next week. I think I might include this video link! Mixed audience some of whom already think I am mad...... So I would rather keep things happy and friendly if you know what I mean?
