Play time!

Post by bobbys girl »

A couple of nights ago the kitties were all very restless. It had been a wet, miserable day, they had been in all day and were bored. Then I remembered their Christmas present.

Just after these were taken Purdy decided to show them how it was done. She grabbed the 'tail' and tried to make off with the whole thing. Still, I think even Tom and Willow, who just watched, really enjoyed the show.

Thay all looked really engaged in that, even the audience! They are lovely pics. :)

That's the sort of toy that's probably best brought out just on rainy afternoons, so they don't get bored of it.

Fab photos!

I caved in and bought one for my Gang recently. Very mixed reaction ranging from total fear to mad play to the point of near destruction!

I'd never seen this before - I had to watch a youtube video to get the point.

I think my Molly would like one of these - either that or she'd wreck it! - but the info about batteries is very vague and some of the reviews say that it runs out of juice in no time. What sort of batteries does it use - and have you noticed if they run down fast?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi Lilith,

It takes 3x 'C' batteries. Not as commom as AAA but I got some easy enough. I got it out to check on the batteries and thought 'what the heck' so it's up and running again, Purdy on one side Grace on the other and Bob hanging off the end of the sofa, watching.

So far the batteries are OK. I suppose it depends on how often you use it.

For the enjoyment we ALL get, I think it is worth it. :D
