LARGE Cat litter - available

Post by murtle »

Hello

I ordered a very large cat little tray by accident which I still have, and was wondering if any rescue or cat owner could make use of it before I have to chuck it?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

Your best bet is to contact your local rescues direct, which you can find through this site. They, or one of their fosterers, might be glad of it.

I agree, contact a few local rescues - they are sure to have good use for it. Or wildlife rescue if that's closer

where in the country are you?

Thank you.

I live in Reading, Berkshire.

It might be more suited to wildlife...I'm not sure who would use it...I think you could use it as a baby bath (but you might lose the baby...)

Not sure on colour but it is this model

We have big cats but even so this was enormous. Yes I should have properly measured it!

it doesn't have to be used as a litter tray though - with some cosy bedding inside it would be ideal for a litter of kittens, I would have thought - and as such even more useful to a rescue, as maybe open litter trays are easier for them if they have a lot to deal with

Thank you - no I hadn't thought of that as we have a covered litter tray as our boys don't like open ones.

I'll feel less stupid contacting some of the rescues round here knowing that they could actually use it for something useful...as honestly, in its delivery box (which doesn't have much space round it) it takes up the whole of the back of my Ford Ka!!
