cleaning up urine

What does everyone use to clean up urine (spray)? I don't know if the biological washing powder, surgical sprit option is just too time consuming and perhaps a special spray would be best? Other than 'Fourpaws Industrial Cleaner' which has already been recommended are there anymore favourites?

I keep snakes, and most reptile keepers seem to swear by F10 veterinary disinfectant for safety and power; it's non-irritant and if it can deodorise the smell of snake wee it can deodorise anything! Also it doesn't leave much of a smell behind it, once wiping up is over, although I quite like its smell - it's that smell you get as you walk into the vet's consulting room, when they've just wiped the table over.

I can't obtain it locally - I buy it online from reptile shops like Blue Lizard and Swellreptile; it isn't cheap but a small bottle of F10 Super-Concentrate lasts for ages and I make it up into a solution in plant sprayers, one in every room; the snakes' vivariums are everywhere so any cat accidents, I just grab the F10 spray.

I've always sworn by "Urineoff" you can get it from Amazon....but was looking for it the other day and found " Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer - Cats " it's £8.20 for a 32oz bottle..seems to be getting rave reviews on Amazon so might try it.
My previous Siamese cats Bailey and Abby ( brother & sister ) were inveterate spayer so had to have something effective..alway found "Urineoff" worked very well.

I would check any disinfectant. Just because something is safe for babies and other animals, doesn't make it cat safe. Apparently cats lack a certain enzyme that breaks down phenols. Things like Dettol (even the clear kitchen spray) can be lethal to cats, causing kidney failure. There is a disinfectant that claims to be cat-safe, called Byotrol. Pets at Home sell a spray bottle and there is a brand called Petface that is also Byotrol. Both £4, but from what I can make out, Tesco own kitchen spray has the same disinfectant and is 95p

I have seen another one called Safe4, but it is quite expensive (places like Viovet sell it)

Obviously disinfectants only kill bacteria - they don't break down the proteins in urine like specialist products. Last year I was buying a brand called Out in Home Bargains for 99p but they didn't have any the last time I was there.
