I've been to my local Morrisons to try to get some of these, only to find them marked at £1.99. When I mentioned that the website indicates that they're on offer at £1, I was told that it's a 'web only' offer - rather misleading, I feel.

Has anyone actually found them for £1 in store??

Yup, on their website it states clearly, reduced from £1.99 to £1 - but no mention of this being an online offer only!

That's odd. I have never known a supermarket to have a different deal online. I know PAH do it with some things though.

I was going to see if they had it in our Morrisons local. The nearest big stores are 5 miles or so from me, in Herne Bay or Canterbury, so I rarely go.

I did wonder if the explanation about it only being available online at that price was just an excuse for them not having changed the price tickets. That's why I asked if anyone had actually found the packs in stores for £1. The assistant I spoke to said that the same situation had arisen with other products being shown online at prices not available in the stores - it's misleading when the website doesn't indicate this.

It was a big branch I was in, though I wouldn't expect that to make any difference.

I would phone their customer service and post on their Facebook page for the hell of it.

I've contacted Morrisons and they say that the £1 price should apply in stores, so perhaps I was unlucky in that my local store had the wrong prices on, and gave me wrong information about it only applying online.

I thought it was all computerised, so had they scanned one, the offer price would have gone through?

So the comment about it being an online offer was just someone blagging it!

My classic one was in a Sainsbury's once. I asked an assistant if he could tell me where the Hollandaise was (I used to run a B&B) He said "I don't even know WHAT it is, let alone WHERE it is" he laughed and walked off. I found it myself in the end.

Been a while since I saw Felix for £2 for 12 pouches!
