Birthday cards are bad and must be destroyed....
So....it's mine and OH's birthday's this month and I decided foolishly to do a beautiful display of birthday cards around our fire place....lasted all of ten seconds before Tiki decided that this CLEARLY was not acceptable and set out to destroy anything even remotely resembling a card. Too cute to be annoyed though, especially when she kept skidding on them like they were little sledges.

You should try the talking ones! I got my OH a minions card, we keep it around cos it makes us laugh. The cats, however, go doo-lally evrytime we open it.

I know that scenario well, i just put them now all huddled together on a high shelf where they cannot reach, so christmas time its like all the cards on a 6 foot plinth,
we make tunnels and build them up like jenga for cats ! no point going to waste after people are thoughtful :0)
although one from hubby won't ever get knocked down as the bu**er never buys me one even after 41 years of knowning him

I bet yours doesn't give you the money for your Christmas present (less £5.00 that I had to put to it), keep it unwrapped on top of the wardrobe, wrap it last thing Christmas Eve AND expect you to say 'Oh darling, what a surprise'!nannymcfee wrote:although one from hubby won't ever get knocked down as the bu**er never buys me one even after 41 years of knowning him

Yet after all those years we ain't gonna change them!

Well.
I wondered who my naughty Molly had been exchanging so many PMs with...
I reckon she's been giving your Tiki a tutorial!
