Advice needed - boarding herpesvirus+ cat
Hoping someone can help me. I'm posting on behalf of a friend who has been taken into hospital and has two elderly cats. Both cats are fully vaccinated and we got them into a cattery, but one of the cats is a herpesvirus carrier and the owner of the cattery says she cannot keep them there. This is in North-East England. Does anyone know of a cattery with isolation/quarantine facilities that would be able to take them? Or does anybody have any other ideas of how to arrange temporary care for these cats while their owner is in hospital? (I have tried the Cinnamon Trust but they are unable to help.)

What about getting a pet sitter in a couple of times a day?

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately a lot of work is going to have to be done at the house to adapt it before my friend will be able to return to live there, so the cats do need to be removed. Otherwise this would have been a perfect solution.
