'It wasn't me mum!'

Post by bobbys girl »

Earlier in the year we put some fresh stone on the little courtyard at the side of the house. It's a little bigger than the last lot and we've been kicking it up the drive, so we decide to put in a barrier to contain it a little. Last weekend I finally got around to concreting it in. Not a cat in sight......

We'd borrowed a mixer from a friend and I decided to make the most of it and do some repairs elsewhere.

When I went to see if the concrete had gone off enough to 'polish' it (OH says he's never seen anyone finish a job so well - but I think it's sarcasm not a compliment  ) this is what I found.

I got the camera out to take a picture to Show OH when he came home. By the time I came back Thomas was sitting there with a look that said 'it wasn't me mum!'

I think he's telling the truth, you can just see his big wet footprint on the timber. I left the prints and by the time the concrete went off there were 7 in total. Never a dull moment.

Such perfect prints, I think they're rather a 'feature'! :D

And I believe him too, the culprit has little, dainty paws by the look of it!

I think Bob is responsible for one - it's very deep!
