Pleased to report that Kasper likes being indoors

He was in & out all the time when it was warmer. He seems to like his home comforts and sleeps most of the day. He was going out in the evenings, but tonight, he is quite happy curled up in his bed :)

(athough now I have said it, he will probably prove me wrong and disappear off at 1am!)

It's funny Helen. but he sleep like that all the time. He is so big now, but still such a kitten. He seems to have doubled in size in the last few months. He doesn't understand why other cats don't want to snuggle. Dom was asleep next to me on the bed this morning (He doesn't move all night) This morning, Kasper clambered over me, rubbed his head against Dom's and tried to spoon :) - Dom was having none of it. They had a little wrestle. Dom moved and Kasper took his warm spot.

To me it is a sign of complete contentment, looks like Kasper is really at home, lovely boy.

It's almost as if they know they have something worth showing! :)

This one was from last night - I have tried to stop them going on worktops, but I lost the battle of wills :)

That is SO cute!

Yeh, you are outnumbered there. If you are anything like us breakfast time is like a scene from a Joyce Grenville sketch - the nursery one - 'George, don't do that'.

It goes something like this - 'Grace leave Purdy alone, Purdy I am not feeding you through the window, Bob that is NOT your breakfast, Willow stand up for yourself and Tom GET YOUR AxxE OFF THE CHOPPING BOARD!!!!!'

Apart from the fact that I am keeping Detol in business, I wouldn't have it any other way.

 LOL! I remember that! I used to listen to it on the radio as a child, and I'd keep on asking my mother what George was supposed to be doing. She would look very shifty and say, off-handedly, 'oh, he's picking his nose'...

It took me over thirty years to realise what George was actually doing

Love the pics, Mark - to think he just landed up in your garden...obviously knew the right place to come. He's totally gorgeous. That third pic in the first batch though - lad's flashing! Shameless!

Ooh, I never made "that " connection about George before! Kasper is gorgeous. I love having naughty boy cats in the house - they bring so much energy with them! :-)

On a serious note, just a warning about Dettol - even the clear kitchen one is toxic, even lethal to cats.

Byotrol is supposed to be cat-safe and Pets at Home even put it is some of their litter, cat wipes and litter tray spray and wipes. Also Petface do a Byotrol spray. The Petface and PAH sprays are £4 - however, Tesco own brand kirchen spray is only 70p and is also Byotrol. From what Ican make out, it has the same ingredients. I use it all the time, but still make sure I rinse or wipe off as much as I can.

Thanks for that Mark. I do use both the clear and lavender and orange Dettol. I also use lots of HOT water. I don't like the thought of disinfectant on chopping boards - but then feel it is better than cat bottoms!
