Jilly's pride and joy

These are jillyvillyvoo's pics of her babies, and the text she sent me to put up on the forum:
Sony and cher as you can see loved to curl,up together in their donut. Sonny is the tabby, he is just a big softie and groomed her silly. Cher was boss! They did this every night for 13 years so he misses her terribly.
Sony often sleeps with his tongue hanging out which is cute, it because he only has on tooth left.
The very last photos are pepsi the pest (the one with the 2 very sharp teeth!) This is when we were just feeding him and before we took him in. The last one shows him looking rather at home. This was the first time he lay up on the setee.

Thanks so much, they were Bro and sis from same litter. Cher passed in April and I think a wee bit of sonny died then too. They fought at times over that donut bed but the loser would squirm their way in Eventually and they would curl up. Thing is for months sonny would not go near that bed, after a while I washed it and still he would protest if you put him anywhere near it. So sad

However in July he found his way back to it so it was really a special time. I guess we all started to heal. It was around this time Pepsi appeared and despite the fact I never ever wanted another cat.....he has settled beautifully, after a very rocky start, and I have gained a little education on fiv +. I have also discovered catchat so win win!

They are all lovely...poor Sonny must have grieved; I'm glad he's got Pepsi to distract him.
They say that when there is a cat vacancy in a household, a needy cat knows, and fills that space ...

Hi Lilith, thank for that. Yes poor Sonny greived but seems ok now, however he will never he same cat he was

he couldn't be more loved though. Every one loves sonny! Honestly all the kids just curl up with him he can be very sweet. Pepsi IS a distraction

sonny gets fed up with him but they tolerate each other well. Hard to believe when you look at pepsi's photo (all sweetness and light) that he is the wee horror i contacted the forum for in the first place.....pooing on the bed, then the pillows, every day

thankfully no more of that. He won't use a litter tray now though, he prefers to go out and mess up my lawn (why can't he do it on the neighbours like other decent cats).

Lovely pictures of lovely cats Jilly. Poor Sonny must miss Cher, and it's really hard seeing them grieve, but I hope he's adjusted ok. I love the photo of Pepsi stretched out and looking content and happy too.

I meant to ask about Sonny's ear? I love the jaunty angle!
He has such a sweet face, too.

I forgot about that. He was the most handsome cat on the block before that. The vet said it would add character, its funny looking back i was so upset about that ear. It happened one day, first time ever he took himself off and hid, behind our standard lamp. OH texted me and told me ear was a bit swollen, within a few hours it was the size of an egg! Down to vets and they kept him in, it was a haematoma

They operated in the morning and told us most likely he would have a cauliflower ear. We reckon that cher took a swipe (as they often did) but it burst a wee blood vessel. Poor soul was in a collar for several weeks and very depressed. That was about 5 or 6 years ago.

I agree with the vet, it definitely does add character, I think it makes him look very cute.
