Feral cats

I have two feral cats who are now lap cats but they dislike strangers.
I tell everyone who comes to the house please don't touch the black cats, they will bite you.
Invariably the cats show their bellies, the visitor totally ignores my advice and they get bitten, usually when I am not looking.
The last one had to go to hospital for IV antibiotics, and then had the nerve to come here and kick off about it. I said what part of don't touch either of the black cats do you not understand *sigh*
I think I'll have to put signs up or something.
Just because a cat looks friendly doesn't mean they are.
If I'm stroking Bluebell I keep my eyes open all the time, even after 10 years she can sudden;y lash out if she thinks I'm not paying attention the minx
