Ever so often Milla sits down and watches TV too but it doesn't really last that long, but Kala can sit there for a good 5-10 minutes actively watching a screen, especially if what she is watching is also accompanied with sound
If there's no change in the image she gets bored quickly but if there's something moving and new things keep popping up she keeps on watching, ever so often trying to catch what's on screen too
Here she is watching me play games

Most of mine respond to other cats or birds on the TV, but Purdy loves to watch golf and snooker. She watches the ball and goes to look for it when it goes in the pocket/hole. But her favourite programme is the Simpsons. I think it is the blocks of colour that attracts her. I don't know if her having sight in only one eye makes a difference to how she sees things (compared to the others).
BTW very sweet photos!

My perky will only lie beside me on the sofa when she finds me watching TV but she never watches herself. How can i get ger to start watching too? I think it'll be cute two of us watching together.

No TV, so Tilly doesn't get the chance to watch it. However, when she and Badger were kittens, they loved to watch a DVD of "Walking with Dinosaurs" - seems like dinosaurs appeal to the young of other species than humans!

Aww love the pics - doesn't seem a moment since that cat was a little wet mouse on her Mama's belly and now she's a proper little madam!
I haven't got a TV - just don't like it, did consider one for watching DVDs but haven't the space, but try to convince the TV licensing people in this country. Even their phone line doesn't cater for the unlicensed and so far I've received nothing but 'we have not heard from you and will be taking action unless...' I've been telling them till I'm blue in the face...it's Kafkaesque. They even used to publish names and addresses of 'offenders'. Creepy or what.
Decades ago when I did watch TV the cats used to like anything that moved jerkily, like wildlife films about birds or mice, and I can remember a lovely wobbly kids' programme - Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men - the camerawork and puppetry were terrible and they sort of shambled about talking nonsense language with a squeaky voiced plant - mind you, not surprising, I mean, what were those guys DOING. down the end of the garden with a Little Weed???

Elsie loves my Ipad mini - especially if i put youtube on. She especially likes penguins and parrot videos! They keep her entertained for a while but i have to supervise otherwise she starts biting the screen!
