A tiny ball of fluff arrived one day
In the metal machine from a long way away
When we got home I opened the door
It ventured out & guess what I saw
Two ears appeared, a nose & eyes
Four paws, and then, to my surprise
The little ball of fluff & fur
Said ''I've arrived to make you purr''
It investigated from room to room
And quickly made itself right at hoom(!)
It rolled around playing with its toys
And wasted no time in making lots of noise
That 1st night it jumped on the big bed
Nudging me for fusses gently with its head
I knew in that moment, in a heart beat
A greater love I would never meet
For she is my princess, my soul mate
My baby girl who arrived on this date
My love for her is simple & pure
She loves me too of that I'm sure
So thank you Dora you gorgeous furbabe
I am your mummy, your ever faithful slave
