Two years since accident

Changed my avatar to Tiger, who came to sit with my only other cat at the time, and didn't want to go away. Even after 10 nights holiday, there he was sitting outside the garden door on the patio early in the morning.
Two years ago to this week, came home 4am with busted jaw, broken teeth, and an eye hanging out. Lucky wife was up, or not know about it till later. Rushed to emergency out-of-hours vet. Sedated, put on drip, given pain killers. Kept in vets for weekend. Then the after treatment at home. Liquefied food fed by syringe, pain killers, antibiotics. Suspect car accident? But couple of weeks later found an air gun pellet in a leg. Shot at, causing him to run into road? Who knows? Still doing well, but not as active as before. Not to mention the vet fees. What we do for our pets!!

Hi Kev so glad Tiger's recovered. Having had an intensive dental implant op on Wed empathy for a Tiger. I've still got a black eye. Family friend who came with me popped up Thu "Jeeze what does the other bloke look like?" Swelling & bruising - no way would I have a face lift! Air gun pellet!!! Hugs to Tiger. Vivian
