Comfy Collar or Smart-E collar?
Looking to order something better than the lampshade collar that Kylie will be getting on Friday.Bearing in mind the wound is on her paw. Any recommendations please?

Hi Mark,
Tasha had a comfy collar on for a neck sore - we think it was a flea bite rash she kept scratching and making it bleed. It worked wonders, after grounding her for a week with the collar. She seemed very comfortable actually, resting her head on it for a snooze. I don’t know whether it would stop a cat getting at their paw though, nor about the other collar as I’ve not bought one.

Thanks Jane. I googled and it says that the comfy collar isn't suitable for paw injuries. I might just order both anyway and try them out. Both quite cheap and I can get them on Amazon Prime by tomorrow.
The biggest lifesaver has been Alice's old Thermotex bed. Kylie has been quite inventive about finding ways to make herself reasonably comfortable. She has been alternating between that and a large floor cushion OH bought recently. I'm sure she will be a lot more comfortable once he cast is off.
Major concern now is that I don't think she has had a drink or used the tray.

Shame the comfy collar isn’t suitable for paws. I bought mine from Amazon Prime too as we wanted it pretty quickly. I hope the other works well though and Kylie is back to her normal routine soon bless her.

have you thought about litter Mark? I have seen it advised to swap normal litter with shredded newspaper for cats with paw injuries

Kay, she will have some kind of bandage on for ages, but Kylie gave up any covering long ago.She does make a feeble attempt outside, but always using her right paw.
Helen - I know what you mean, but Kylie has fairly limited mobility as it is. I will try the comfy collar first and the other if it is a fail (I got both for £13 with free Prime delivery tomorrow)
