Bo Rap kitty version?

Post by bobbys girl »

I have just been sent this 'funny'. It's got me thinking - how about a kitty version.

I'm thinking 'I've got a little kitty sitting on my van, will he move, will he move, I do not really think so.'

Over to you Lilith! :D

Hope this works.

Is this the real thing; is this just fantasy?
Gotta be teatime, at only five to three.
Any brand of wet food, doesn't really matter to me, to meeeeeee....

...Greenwich Mean Time is growly meal time,
I need some grub in me!

So now we'll easily wow, easily woe,
Little high, little low.
Any way we screech it,
Doesn't really matter to we, to we....

Here comes a little bit of chunter from the human -
Ruddy cats, ruddy cats, will you shut up with your bawling?
Howling and yowling and dancing a fandango!

OH NO WE WILL NOT LET YOU GO!

So you think you can pull the wool over my eyes?
So you think you can tell me the clock tells me lies?
Donner und katzen, I gotta get out, gotta get right out of here ...

OH NO WE WILL NOT LET YOU GO!
(We hit high C! And one of her trendy steampunk bulbs shatters!)

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!

(Oh ... all right then.)

Deafening silence, broken only by the sounds of munching.

Nothing really matters, anyone can see.
Nothing really matters.
Nothing really matters,
But tea ...

When I'm cleaning my canary out, (I know the cat and the canary)! Georgia will perch on the windowsill in the kitchen innocently watching every move Busby makes. Then she'll shuffle forward inch by inch until I shout at her to clear off. I can imagine her singing.

'Mummy won't let me eat the canary
Mummy won't let me eat the canary
Though I put on an innocent act
I'll have to face the fact
Tea won't consist on can air reeeee! (to 'daddy wouldn't buy me a bow wow')

I'd start worrying if she began to spell her name Jaws-ja though ...

I've always had a soft spot for this -

Brilliant Judy!

Lilith, I've just watched the cat duet with Purdy. She was curious as to where the noise was coming from and shot me a glance as if to say 'what on earth? You humans are weird!'

Lol that version reminds me of a really 'catty' battle between a Siamese and a Somali (longhaired Abyssinian) belonging to a breeder I once knew.

These were two girls who hated each other. Furthermore, the Siamese had mated sneakily with the Somali stud and produced SIX kittens. The Somali girl only had four.

They met each other on the landing (it wasn't a cattery setup; the cats lived in-house and usually gave birth in a bedroom) and had a shrieking fight. In the midst of the uproar it wasn't noticed that, once the fight was stopped, the Somali had nipped into the Siamese's kittening box and nicked a kitten. The BIGGEST kitten. AND a boy. (Feline mothers are very partial to their boys I'm afraid, bad feminists lol.)

Honours about even

Lol - kitnapping indeed!

Amazing what goes through cats' minds; WHY did she take that kitten, I've always wondered.

I believe they let her keep him; it evened things out with milk and the two litters had been born roughly at the same time. Presumably he grew up thinking he was Somalese while his brothers and sisters thought they were Siamalis ... :D

This thread has reminded me that I used to sing a version of Dizzee Rascal's 'Bonkers' to Daz when he was first trapped, neutered and came to live with us. I still call him 'Dazzee Rascal' sometimes! :D

To have a home and a bed is a daydream
I'm a tom but I'm not quite what I seem
In a bush in the woods is where I sleep
But the memory of a home is buried deep

They say my life is all sex and violence
But a heavy purr is my kind of silence
Everybody wants to get me in a trap
I want love but I'm scared that they'll give me a slap

Some people think I'm feral
But I just think I'm free
Man, I'm just looking for love
There's nothing feral 'bout meeeee!!!

Aww Crewella your Daz song reminded me of my 'feral' lads

Beneath that macho/fierce exterior of every feral tom is just a big pussycat looking for love :)
