Hills Prescription Diet Feline y/d

Post by Lottie3333 »

Sadly my 15 year old cat Lucy had to be put down in the middle of March due to a stroke :( :(

Lucy had an overactive thyroid and we fed her Hills Prescription Diet Feline y/d dry food to control it. I've now got an unopened 5kg bag of food which I'm not sure what to do with. I've contacted my local cat charities and none of them has a cat which needs it at the moment. Has anyone got a suggestion of what I could do with it?

Your vet, or other vets in your area, might know of someone struggling to afford this food who might be glad of it

As someone who had an HT cat I can imagine an older owner might find the Y/D diet easier than trying to pill

Sorry to hear about Lucy, if the bag is unopened Hills should take it back.
