Lily is now being 'encouraged' to go through tunnel. She hasn't sussed out how to nudge the flap herself so we are holding it up for her. Next step of training is to get her to nudge it herself and then show her how to get back in. Soldiering on! Thanks for your post. Val

Hi Val - this sounds like good progress. This was what we did successfully last year with our girl who now goes in and out fine. Interestingly she still does not like butting it with her head - she delicately pushes it with a paw to get it going, and then ducks her head underneath!
Do keep us up to date with Lily's progress. Is it a microchip flap? Ours is and I think the clicking put her off at first, but in time they will get used to anything if they can be bothered!
