I bought an automatic water dispenser, the results is my cat did not drink water for a day.

No, not stupid, just awkward, like most cats. We have fresh water bowls around the house but they prefer the pond.

A couple of possibilities:
- If it's a static water dispenser as opposed to a filtered water fountain, you need to change the water every day.
- Some cats don't like the taste of tap water, but will drink bottled still mineral water.
