This poem was on a greetings card my sister just sent me. I hope you all like it!
God was in His workshop
Creating perfection
He wrapped it up in silken fur
And filled it with affection
He then gave it two angel eyes
And finally, placed it on my lap!
Thank you, Lord, for this wondrous gift
I think I'll call it..... CAT

That is so right, Bobbys Girl! Glad you all like the poem, the card is up in my "keepies" drawer now (most cards are in the bin soon after events!).
She got it in honour of my new cat, Denver who is joining me in a couple of weeks time after my holiday. I'm off out today to get some cat toys in for him (he's much younger than Kit and Mischa were, so he's unlikely to snooze all day while I'm at work like they did!)
