You're doing right.
My daughter had a 3 legged cat, she (the cat) got an infection in her hind leg which was killing her so she decided to have the vet remove it even though everyone thought she should put her down. The leg must have been hurting because she never looked back even though she was 10 when she had the surgery. She was an outdoor cat and it was amazing what heights she could jump to, and how fast she could run. She lived to the ripe old age of 20 - so it was the right thing to do.

How did your cat lose her leg? You might wanna check her for an infection. I’ll suggest to either visit a vet or schedule a call with them explaining your cat’s problem. There are a couple of sites offering such services - goodvets.com, veterinarians.com, greatvet.com.

We haven't had a reply from the OP Dr Tan (unless I've missed it). It often seems to happen - do you think people loose touch because they simply can't find us again, or because they don't like the replies?
I wonder what happened to his 3 legged kitty .....
