Looks very fancy! I have the ordinary ones (and no smartphone) so can't help you there. Any time I have been curious as to how much they have eaten I just weigh before and after. I was going to suggest using it anyway without the app, but as there is quite a price difference I see where you're coming from. The basic one was £100 when I bought mine.

I tend to work on the principle that the less there is to go wrong, the better. As the old saying goes, to err is human, but to really foul things up requires a computer.

£128 for the pair? That is good, the cheapest I have seen is around £80.Raych1975 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 9:03 am Found i can get two normal Sureflap chip feeders for £128 which is good. I guess also if wifi crashed or something then that would also mess up readings but this morning i watched honey eat but no record of it was on the hub thing!
Sometimes the basic things are better!
